WINFIELD TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
MINUTES
April 19th, 2024
Matthew Klabnik, Chairman Members: Michael Robb and Glenn Nagle, 8:00 a.m.
Called to Order 8:00 AM
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD:
There was no public comment.
NEW BUSINESS:
356 & Winfield Road Traffic Signal Bid Award – Mr. Klabnik made a motion to award the 356 & Winfield Road Traffic Signal Project construction bid to M&B Services in the amount of $378,161.85, subject to receipt of acceptable payment and performance bonds. Mr. Nagle seconded the motion. All were in favor and the motion carried.
Notice to Intent to Award – Mr. Klabnik made a motion to authorize the issuance of Notice of Intent to Award to M and B Services, Inc transmitting the Agreement and bonds for execution. Mr. Robb seconded the motion. All were in favor and the motion carried.
First Energy Pole Relocation – Mr. Klabnik made a motion to approve First Energy Pole Relocation at the Planet Mart parking lot in the amount of $14,424.38 to come from the Act 13 Fund. Mr. Robb seconded the motion. All were in favor and the motion carried.
356 Traffic Signal Maintenance Agreement – Mr. Klabnik made a motion for approval of the Permanent Traffic Signal and Sidewalk Maintenance Agreement with Tuath Glenola, LLC, owner of the Planet Mart, and to authorize the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors and Secretary to sign the same. Mr. Nagle seconded the motion. All were in favor and the motion carried.
Spring Road Tour
Adjourn – Mr. Klabnik made a motion to adjourn at 8:50am. Mr. Nagle seconded the motion. All were in favor and the motion carried. The Supervisors and Roadmaster continued on the Spring Road Tour.
